What is Testoviron Depot?
Testoviron depot is an ester of the naturally occurring androgen, testosterone. It is responsible for the normal development of the male sex characteristics. In the event of insufficient testosterone production an almost complete balance of the functional, anatomic, and psychic deficiency symptoms can be achieved by substituting testosterone.
The advantage of Testoviron, however, is that this substance has a very strong androgenic effect and is coupled with an intense anabolic component. This allows almost everyone, within a short time, to build up a lot of strength and mass. The rapid and strong weight gain is combined with distinct water retention since retention of electrolytes and water occurs. A pleasant effect is that the enormous strength gain goes hand in hand with the water retention. Weightlifters especially in the higher weight classes, appreciate this characteristic.
An additional problem when taking Testoviron is that the conversion rate to estrogen is very high. This, leads the body to store more fat; on the other hand, feminization symptoms (Gynecomastia) are not unusual.
Side effects of Testoviron:
All medicines may cause side effects. Check with your doctor if any of these side effects persist or become bothersome:
Acne; bitter or strange taste in mouth; change in sex drive; fatigue; gum or mouth irritation; gum pain; gum tenderness or swelling; hair loss; headache.
Seek medical attention right away if any of these SEVERE side effects occur:
Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); breast growth or pain; change in the size or shape of the testicles; changes in menstrual periods; coughing fit; dark urine or light-colored bowel movements; depression or mood changes; dizziness; facial hair growth; interrupted breathing while sleeping; loss of appetite; nausea; painful or prolonged erection; shortness of breath; stomach pain; swelling of the ankles or legs; urination problems; voice changes or hoarseness; weight gain; yellowing of the skin or eyes.
Other possible side effects are testicular atrophy, reduced spermatogenesis, and especially an increased aggressiveness. Those who transfer this aggressiveness to their training and not their environment do not have to worry. Unfortunately this is not the case in some athletes who take Testoviron. High doses are partly responsible for anti-social behavior among its users. Though Testoviron is broken down through the liver, this compound is only slightly toxic when taken in a reasonable dose; therefore, changes of the liver values do not occur as often as with the oral 17-alpha alkylated steroids. Further potential side effects can be deep voice and accelerated hair loss.
Women should normally avoid its intake since it could result in unpleasant androgen-linked side effects. Changes in voice and alopecia must be classified as irreversible, hirsutism and clitoral hypertrophy as in partly reversible.
Administration of Testoviron:
Although active in the body for a longer time, Testoviron is usually injected on a weekly basis for physique- or performance-enhancing purposes. The usually dosage is in the range of 200 - 600mg per week, taken in cycles 6 to 12 weeks in length. This level is sufficient for most users to notice exceptional gains in muscle size and strength.
Testoviron is not recommended for women for performance-enhancing purposes due to its strong androgenic nature and tendency to produce viralizing side effects, and slow-acting characteristics (making blood levels difficult to control).
Precautions when using Testoviron:
Don’t use if you are allergic to any ingredient in Testoviron
If you are pregnant, may become pregnant, or are breast-feeding
If you have breast cancer and are male; known or suspected prostate cancer; or serious heart, liver, or kidney problems
Contact your doctor or health care provider right away if any of these apply to you.
Before using Testoviron:
Some medical conditions may interact with Testoviron. Tell your doctor if you have any medical conditions, especially if any of the following apply to you:
if you are taking any prescription or nonprescription medicine, herbal preparation, or dietary supplement
if you have allergies to medicines, foods, or other substances (especially sesame oil)
if you have heart disease, heart failure, coronary artery disease, angina(chest pain), high cholesterol levels, swelling (edema), lung disease,or sleep apnea (long pauses in breathing while you sleep)
if you have diabetes, an enlarged prostate, kidney or liver disease, high blood calcium levels, or obesity
How to use Testoviron:
Use Testoviron as directed by your doctor. Check the label on the medicine for exact dosing instructions.
Testoviron is usually given as an injection at a clinic. If you will be using Testoviron at home, a health care provider will teach you how to use it
Keep this product, as well as syringes and needles, out of the reach of children and pets. Do not reuse needles, syringes, or other materials. Ask your health care provider how to dispose of these materials after use. Follow all local rules for disposal.
If you miss a dose of Testoviron, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.
